Back from the NAPCP

Earlier this month Nicole and I were thrilled to attend the NAPCP national conference in Orlando. The NAPCP is the professional association for the Commercial Card and Payment Industry and is a great resource for any professional or organization in the payables space. We’ve attended in years past, but this was the debut for our role as founders of S.S. Scale.

Nicole led a roundtable discussion, “Buzzwords or Evolving Options?” where she introduced and facilitated conversations around digital features like Open Banking, Embedded Payments, and Buy Now, Pay Later models.

Here are a few trends to be aware of in the digital payment landscape:

I led a presentation, “Becoming Fluent in Fintech,” to introduce the ins and outs of the fintech industry and teach attendees which players and products could be a good fit for their companies. The session covered the basics of fintech, insights on discerning what a fintech delivers, strategy development for partnerships, and areas of risk to identify when reviewing potential providers.
